Partitioning Lab
Every claim in the Partitioning series, running as a partitioner you can skew. Drag the key-range boundaries and watch a timestamp workload pile onto one node. Hash the same keys and watch a range scan turn into a scatter-gather. Then make one key hot enough that neither scheme saves you.
Nothing here is a video. Each node holds real keys and versions, so the anomalies emerge from the simulation rather than being animated for effect.
What each module covers
Partitions own continuous spans of the key space. Drag the boundaries, switch the workload to timestamp-ordered writes, and watch one partition take everything.
The same workload, hashed. The load flattens and the range scan stops being a scan — toggle a compound key to get both back.

Hot keys
One celebrity key that hashing cannot move. Split it across a suffix and watch the write load spread while read fan-out and the split registry grow.
